First ever show/sale

Ok, so I haven't updated in forever. Oops. But I am updating now with pictures of my first show/sale thingy. It was fun. It went well. And I have pictures to show what things looked like...kinda. Haha.

Black and White Explosion

So I've made a lot of black and white stuff lately, and I LOVE the combo. I've always enjoyed black and white together. It's my favorite. Haha. So I'm sharing a few things here. For the complete craziness just go look at the store site. :)

Custom stuff

I make custom jewelry on occasion. Here's a couple examples...

Therapy

Well, I have been using my jewelry as therapy lately, so I have several new additions to my store, linked to the right. But I thought I would post a few pics of my newbies for all to see. :)
This is a pressed pansy, decoupaged to a wood piece, then sealed with a clear coat for glossiness. This is the same thing, but with a pink larkspur instead of a pansy. They're both on ribbon too.
I have a necklace to match these, but aren't they cool? Amethyst and pearl beads are fun.
For this one, I used clear faceted beads and some purple beads. It's really simple, but I think it's cute. I have earrings to match, too. Just look in my online store. This is another fun one. Wooden beads with some mother of pearl beads. I just like the combo.
This is another one of my new favorites. I thought it was fun too. Pink and pearls, with a little marbled-y looking pendant bead.
I really like this one. I used a combination of turquoise-ish beads and some seed beads, spaced by some silver ball beads. The pendant is a little picture frame charm, and my brain is overrun with different things I could put in there. I figured I'd let the person who buys it choose for themselves though. :)
This one I like a lot. Yes, I am biased, since I made it, but for some reason the combo of wooden beads and green stone beads just looks super cool to me...
...Which is why I also posted the matching earrings. They're just too cool for school. I have a necklace that matches these earrings, too, but I just wanted to highlight how cool the mother of pearl charm looks on just a simple hoop earring. I love simplicity. :)

Well, I guess that's about all for now. Feel free to go look at the shop for all my new creations, as this is just a sampling. Enjoy. See ya round.

A few new things

For those of you who like wearing jeans and t-shirts more than dressing up, this jewelry is right up your alley. I made some cute little pendants, then secured them on a ribbon necklace. The ribbon is finished with a clasp so it's secure (and you don't have to worry about knotting or making a pretty bow with the ribbon). Anyway, here's a few of my favorites. There are several up on my webstore as well. You should get one. Hehe.

More jewelry

I have been busy the past few days creating some new jewelry. I was about to take pictures so i could list it in my store and add some pics on here, but...my camera's batteries died, so they will have to wait till I can get some new batteries. That will be soon though.

I am very excited. I am discovering new things to do, and I am experimenting a little bit, and I hope that that excitement will come across in my stuff. So, until I can post some pics, i guess that's about it. Feel free to check out the store. :)

Hello everyone. Thanks for visiting my new blog. I am starting this so that I can keep people up to date on my recent craftiness. With my store on etsy, i just figured i would try to have a place to show all my work, not just the limited pictures i can fit on a sale post. And if you just found this blog, then awesome. I also have a link to my store on etsy to make it easier. :)

Check back often for my updates. You never know what I may post next!
